The Eye Screening Program, EYELAB, organized by Pertubuhan Mata Kasih Kuala Lumpur, aims to tackle the growing concern of vision impairments among students and the wider community. The initiative provides comprehensive eye examinations, awareness programs, and access to affordable eyewear, targeting 50 schools across the Klang Valley. The program was launched at SJKC Sungai Buloh on 25th February 2025 and officiated by Tn Haji Azman Mashuri from the Ministry of Education, alongside strategic partners. As part of our technology commercialization efforts, Adastra is dedicated to bringing impactful innovations that address societal challenges. We are proud to be a strategic partner of the EYELAB Program, contributing to advancements in children's eye health screening by providing cutting-edge solutions. This program shows our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility and supporting the government's ESG initiatives.

Mr. Mohan K, our Managing Director, and Ms. Suriyia Sadanathan, our Director of Patents, were invited to lead a discussion and awareness session at Credence, highlighting the importance of Intellectual Property in the digital era with a focus on AI, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies. This session was part of our ongoing efforts to raise awareness about the critical role of IP.

Our Managing Director, Mr. Mohan K, was honored to serve as a panelist, where he provided feedback to enhance the pitches and offered strategic advice on commercialization to the participants.

Intangible Asset Valuation & Finance – Driving Business Growth with Intellectual Property Assets

In this prestigious event, experts and businesses from the region shared their thoughts and perspectives on strengthening and moving forwards ASEAN-India economic relations for a strategic business partnership.

In February 2023, Adastra IP was proud to host a networking dinner for a group of intelligent and formidable women who are either business owners, founders or key woman in their respective businesses. Topic of the evening was on personal brand, key woman and IP as intangibles which drive business value. It was truly an insightful evening with good food and even better company. We had a visit and discussion with SME Corp's Deputy CEO and Senior Director on matters relating to IP as a business asset for innovative SMEs.

On 2nd February 2023, Adastra IP organised a business forum together with Inngot. In this event, panellists presented the latest trends and developments on intangible assets and IP finance and discussed the role of IP as an asset class in Islamic finance. Case studies on how innovative firms are using IP to access capital were also shown. Additionally, the event was also the official launch of the Adastra IP and Inngot partnership for an IP Valuation Software. Our technical specialists were on hand to conduct a demo and one-to-one consultation session. The event was concluded successfully with a turn out of 105 participants both onsite and virtually from other countries such as UK, Denmark, Singapore, India and Vietnam.

We are honoured to have the royal presence of DYTM Tuanku Raja Muda Perlis Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail and a delegation from Tourism Malaysia on a business visit to Bunglow37. Our Managing Director DS Mohan Kodivel had a fruitful discussion on IP matters with Tuanku.
