Mr Mohan K, MD - Adastra IP, was one of the panelists at World IP Forum 2018, Dubai, for the panel on "Fostering Innovation Through Global Collaboration". Mr Mohan K shared his own experiences in encouraging collaborations for and among many of Adastra's clients.

Adastra presenting a session on “Valuing IP rights for Financing Purposes” at the recent Media Briefing held by SJPP, a Ministry of Finance Incorporated company on the recently announced RM 1.5bil IP Guarantee Scheme under Budget 2018. Tan Sri Irwan Serigar, Secretary General of Treasury officiated the event. This scheme is to provide added incentives and assurance to commercial banks to make available financing to SMEs against their IP assets. A big step indeed to stimulate the growth of SMEs in Malaysia through strategic positioning and leverage of intangible assets such as Patents, Trademarks, Copyrights and Designs.

Mr Rahul Bagga, Director-Patents and Dr Mandira Roy, General Manager, Technology Transfer and Commercialisation delivered a talk on "IP Master Class for Businesses" event held at Nexus, a start-up incubator by American embassy in India.
